The Medical Information Assistant Certificate program provides students with the skills, knowledge and abilities necessary to pursue a career in healthcare as executive or senior assistants. Students gain a thorough understanding of the various components of medical office administration and patient management.

Students will learn medical terminology, business communication, customer service and keyboarding skills, as well as medical office policies and procedures. All skills are transferable to a variety of medical settings including private physician offices, medical clinics and hospitals.
